About Me

Catrina was born in Corpus Christi and raised in Kingsville, Texas. She graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Catrina then graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

While at St. Mary’s, Catrina dedicated much of her time to pro bono work and volunteering with various legal organizations. Catrina spent a year working as a student attorney with the Center for Legal and Social Justice-Civil Justice Clinic. She had the opportunity to help clients in Bexar County with various probate and family law matters. Catrina was awarded the Francisco Leos Award for Excellence in Clinic Studies: Family Law for her work in the clinic.

Catrina also served as a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice. Catrina’s comment was selected for publication, and she went on to become the Comments Editor in her final year.

In her free time, Catrina enjoys exercising and staying active. She also loves barbecuing with her family and attending Hooks baseball games with her husband.
