About Me

- Martindale-Hubbell AV Rated Michael is a founding partner of Gault & Quintana, LLP and was born in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University and was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2002 and also practices in the U.S. District Court of Southern District of Texas. Michael is an experienced trial lawyer who devotes his practice to the defense of his clients and insurers in multi-party, complex civil litigation matters and is dedicated to aggressively defending his clients in the courtroom and in arbitration forums. He has successfully defended his clients in cases ranging from complex construction defect litigation to medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injuries, professional liability, bad faith, premise liability, commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and auto/trucking accidents. Michael routinely represents business owners, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, insurance companies, transportation companies and drivers. Michael's approach to litigation focuses on early case evaluation and cost-effective resolution through settlement or dispositive motion. When early resolution is not possible, he will not hesitate to take a case to trial or arbitration. Michael has resolved hundreds of cases outside of trial and has successfully tried cases to jury verdict. Michael believes that direct, consistent, and timely communication with his clients is the cornerstone of his relationships with his clients. His ability to think outside the box to find creative solutions to complex problems is why Michael's clients return to him for counsel time and again. Michael has practiced throughout the Rio Grande Valley and his clients are confident in his ability to defend their cases to South Texas juries.
